Building Dept. & Code Enforcement

The Building Department is located at 88 Newtown Lane.  The Building Department issues building permits, certificates of occupancy, yard sale permits, temporary sign permits, outdoor dining permits and wetland flagging. Instructions and Applications can be accessed from our "Forms & Documents" page.

Completed permit applications may be hand delivered during business hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm or mailed to the East Hampton Village Building Department at 88 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, NY 11937.
