What are the fees to obtain a Building Permit?

A check is required at submission and the fee is calculated as follows:

  • 1.25% of the estimated cost
  • $250 Certificate of Occupancy fee
  • $750 Coastal Erosion Management Application
  • $1,000 Demolition Permit
  • You may also give the Building Department a call and we will calculate it for you (631) 324-4150, select 3 from Main Menu.
