Traffic Control Officer (TCO)
The East Hampton Village Police Department is hiring Traffic Control Officers (“TCO’s”) for the summer season. TCO’s direct traffic in the commercial business area; enforce parking regulations; and assist during special events, parades, and vehicle accidents.
Being a TCO is a great way to begin a law enforcement career and a good way to become established within the Village. Traffic Control Officers gain experience with large-event coordination, crowd management, and interpersonal communication. Applicants must be dependable and motivated with good communication skills.
