You must complete a Use of Village Property Application and file it with the Clerk's Office. There are fees and security deposits required for certain events so please check the fee schedule. Applicants must also supply an insurance liability certificate that names the Village of East Hampton as an additional insured.

You must complete permit application located on our website. Permits are required for any event that is 50 or more people and any public parking is being used for the event; this includes public streets.
East Hampton Village beaches are the following beaches: Two Mile Hollow, Main Beach, Wiborg Beach, Georgica Beach, and Egypt Beach. Beaches located in Amagansett, Montauk, Wainscott or Springs are NOT Village beaches and do not require a Village Beach Parking Permit. Beaches are open 10am-5pm from approximately May 15th to September 15th.
Yes, for filming or photo shoots on public and private property within the Village, you need to complete a Permit Application. The Fee is $500 per day and the applicant must include an insurance liability certificate with the application. Filming is not permitted on Village beaches when they are open and weekends.
