East Hampton Village beaches are the following beaches: Two Mile Hollow, Main Beach, Wiborg Beach, Georgica Beach, and Egypt Beach. Beaches located in Amagansett, Montauk or Springs are NOT Village beaches and do not require a Village Beach Parking Permit. Beaches are open 10am-5pm from approximately May 15th to September 15th.
Non-resident beach permits go on sale each year on February 1st. 3,100 permits are available for purchase and cost $400 each. You may purchase online beginning February 1st on the Village website or by mail or in person at Village Hall located at 86 Main Street, East Hampton.
No, there is no fee for permits for Village property owners.
Daily parking is permitted only at Main Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. The cost is $30 per day per vehicle. On weekends, the number of vehicles is limited to 40 at Main Beach and 60 at Two Mile Hollow.
You must complete a Use of Village Property Application and file it with the Clerk's Office. There are fees and security deposits required for certain events so please check the fee schedule. Applicants must also supply an insurance liability certificate that names the Village of East Hampton as an additional insured.
You must complete permit application located on our website. Permits are required for any event that is 50 or more people and any public parking is being used for the event; this includes public streets.
Yes, for filming or photo shoots on public and private property within the Village, you need to complete a Permit Application. The Fee is $500 per day and the applicant must include an insurance liability certificate with the application. Filming is not permitted on Village beaches when they are open and weekends.
